Max's House is a family-centered, comprehensive nursing and learning center, which provides a safe environment for children in Ohio with special healthcare needs. This local program offers skilled nursing care blended with an adaptive educational curriculum, convenient for families with children of all ages. Max’s House provides before and after school care for students attending preschool, elementary, and middle school. Children benefit from the increased socialization and developmental stimulation that the integrated center offers, while their medical needs are met by trained pediatric professionals.

Max’s House provides valuable medical treatment and specialized, developmentally-based education, as well as respite for families whose children have special healthcare needs.

Our center provides an environment that allows for the independence of both the caregiver and child, while contributing to and promoting the functionality of the family.

Our staff combines professional skills with personal commitment and sensitivity to the unique challenges of the children and families we serve. The center director is a Registered Nurse with extensive pediatric experience that openly communicates with the family, primary Physician, and other healthcare providers involved in the care of the child. Our team works together to provide comprehensive care to meet each child’s individual medical, personal, and developmental needs appropriate to their level of care.
